Olive launches Olive Pad, India's first 3G tablet

Olive Pad - VT100 is powered by Android and the device will be priced below 25k



Olive Telecom has launched their newest innovation, after products like OliveFrvrON, OliveZipbook, OliveWiz and OliveGenie, their Olive Pad - VT100, which is India's first 3.5G pad.


Weighing a good 410 grams, the device is said to be perfect to be used as a touch notebook allowing browsing, Multimedia, Instant Messaging, easy access to social networking and GPS for maps, gaming console, an e-book reader, television and as a smart phone allowing voice and video calling.


The device with a 7-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen, operates on the Android 2.1 OS, supports 3.5G HSUPA, GPS and  Wi-Fi and boasts of being a multi-functional device.


It also features a 3MP camera,  a front camera, Bluetooth, flash support, mini USB port, 3.5mm audio jack, microSD card slot and SIM card slot as well.


The device will be made available in all Chroma stores from August and will be priced at under 25k.
